Tearoom

The Tearoom is a facility for ticket-holders/annual pass members to enjoy and is located in the west wing. Serving homemade soup, sandwiches, cakes, tea, coffee and snacks we are open 10am-5pm during the season. Sometimes the estate including Tearoom is closed for private events, please see specific dates under Opening Hours at the bottom of the page.

Booking a table in the Tearoom is not necessary however is advised for groups of 8 or more.

Traditional Afternoon Tea (prebooking necessary)

Traditional Afternoon Tea served in the Library or on the terrace must be booked in advance and is €45 per person. This includes a visit to the House and Garden (self-guided) and a spot on the public House tour at 2pm if desired. Afternoon Tea consists of finger sandwiches, smoked salmon on brown bread, mini scones and cakes served on delicate china.  

We kindly ask that visitors do not bring their own food or drink on to the estate, thank you.
