Bed and Breakfast

The Bed and Breakfast accommodation at Bantry House is an escape from the norm: “a slice of heaven” as one of our guests put it. The 6 rooms in the East Wing of the House are all overlooking the glorious 19th century Italianate garden with the fountain and 100 steps leading up to the woodland. All created and designed by the 2nd Earl of Bantry.

Rooms are furnished with silk curtains, Irish woolens and some period furniture. All rooms are ensuite with heated floors and towel rails. Overnight guests can book a private guided tour with a member of the Shelswell-White family and can also book some treats ahead of your arrival or afternoon tea served in the Library. Please note we will host the Masters of Tradition Music Festival from 21st-25th August 2024. B&B guests booking these dates must bear in mind that the Library will be set up for concerts and there is potential for noise every night.  More information on the festival can be found here https://www.westcorkmusic.ie/masters-of-tradition/
